The air control system is designed to improve the performance of air spring shock absorbers. Air shocks are generally too progressive for most applications making it difficult to control ride height and stability without creating a harsh ride. By adding air volume the shock will compress at a more linear rate. This makes it easier to set the vehicle’s proper ride height without compromising effective travel and stability.

The speed sensitive control valve affects the rate of air transfer from the main shock body into the reservoir. By simply turning the adjuster you can set the shock to feel plush or more responsive for aggressive riding.
