Service Terms and Recommendations

Shock Service Terms
A standard shock is without a remote or piggy back reservoir system. A reservoir shock has a piggy back mounted or remote reservoir system. Service kits are the common replacement seals necessary when rebuilding shock absorbers. All service prices include oil and nitrogen, all other parts are extra!

How often do we recommend that you rebuild your shocks?
It depends on shock design and how much you ride. Think of it this way; if you ride a lot, in rough conditions, than rebuild your shocks more often. Standard type shocks may need more frequent rebuilding than a reservoir type shock. Inexpensive shocks need more frequent rebuilding than high quality shocks. Center shocks have small oil volume requiring frequent maintenance.

If you service your shock annually, you will maintain peak performance

Shock revalving terms
Shock Revalving is a technical service provided to enhance the operating characteristics of your shocks. The shock valving is based on type of riding i.e. (Trail / Touring, XC / Aggressive Trail Riding and Snocross) Shock revalving is recommended for those looking to get more performance from their suspension system and improve handling characteristics over the stock setting.

Note: A Simple thing to remember when dialing in your sleds suspension! The springs are set for your weight and control ride height, while the shock's valving is set for how aggressively you want to ride your snowmobile.
