Service Terms and Recommendations

Shock Service
All service prices include oil and nitrogen, “all other parts are extra”. Shocks are disassembled for an estimate before any work is performed. Old service parts are returned with completion of work. Typical shock service intervals are 20hrs of use. This time can be extended with Hard Anodizing. We will warranty any defects in our craftsmanship or our replacement service parts for up to 30 days from dated invoice.
Shock Revalving
Revalving is a technical service provided to change the operating characteristics of your shocks. A shock revalve is based on type of riding i.e. (X/C, Dune, or MX) other determining factors include rear linkage motion ratios, swing arm length, A arm width, tire size and spring combinations. Typically springs are set for your weight and ride height. The shock valving is set for your spring rate, and type of riding. Shock revalving does not include the rebuilding service and parts.
Shock Rework
Rework service is for estimating shocks that have been modified for a specific application, and need to again be modified to a new application. There is an assessment made to determine the parts and services needed to adapt shocks to the vehicles new set up. The rework service is only used for estimates.
